New blog location

This blog is moving to a new site: http://www.randaclay.com/lumps.
Lumps? I decided to call it "Lumps of Clay" - obviously sort of a silly play on words on our last name. I recently moved to a new web server which is really great and really cheap, and that means I can install WordPress to run on my server, thus changing the blog address. I also have been reading lots of blogs lately, and occasionally have been inspired to post some things that are not just pictures of Jack.
So... change your Favorites if you are a repeat visitor and change your links if LittleJackClay happens to appear in your "blogroll". Thanks for being interested in visiting our little corner of the web!

Toddler Jack
Monday, July 31, 2006
Jack is getting pretty good at this walking thing. He toddles around the room with his arms up in the air for balance, babbling with such serious intent that it seems he must be pontificating on theology or world affairs. Unfortunately, we cannot understand his language, but I suspect that when we can, it will be something like this.
My friend Lilee

Lilee is surprisingly tolerant when Jack "pets" her. She's the only one of the cats who will hang around for very long while he's around. She lets him touch her and grab her fur, but... when the pounding starts, she gives Jack an earful and escapes! We will not be surprised if "kitty" is his first word.

Not so squeaky clean...
Jack really enjoyed his first teething biscuit, can you tell? Note to self: do not give Jack a biscuit when he is tired, because moist gooey hands are not good for rubbing one's eyes.
